 You’re With Us! is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and Department of Developmental Services (DDS) service provider which seeks to create better communities by harnessing the benefits of inclusion for individuals with disabilities. We believe that not only do people with disabilities need inclusion opportunities in order to thrive, but also that these opportunities allow them to contribute to their community in ways that have gone unrecognized in the past. Social connections are a basic human need. You’re With Us! helps with this by identifying, training and supporting college students, clubs, groups, and teams to be welcoming and supportive peers.

YWU has created a service model where Licensed clinicians (through individual insurance authorizations) create game plans for our individuals to help improve social, living, employment skills and our college mentors help implement the plan through their inclusion opportunities creating real life repetitions to generalize all skills. We will also help implement these skills in the home.

We have secured locations on the North Shore, Lowell and Worcester area.

What will the days be comprised of/skills being worked on?
This is determined on an individual-by-individual basis. Once we meet the individual and their family and learn more about their goals in their adult life and what they're hoping their life will look like, we will determine supports and skill development based on them. We also match and support peer connections based on the individuals interests and hobbies, all individuals who are receiving CBDS supports from YWU are also connected to a peer mentor through YWU to help facilitate opportunities for skill development and social inclusion in a college community.

The You're With Us! team will work with each family and individual to create customized scheduling for each peer.

We make these opportunities through our contracts with DDS including Community Based Day Supports, Peer Mentoring, Family Navigation, In Home Supports and Individual Employment Supports.
